Nazareth College Athletics

Daughter of Laura Kules, Lake Luzerne, N.Y. and Gene Kules, Punta Gorda, FL.. returning for her fourth season with the team after starting in all 27 matches as a junior setter … led the team with 470 assists (4.80 per set) and was tied for second on the team with 37 aces … ranked fourth on the team with 178 digs … had a career-high 33 assists against St. Lawrence and recorded at least 20 assists in 10 additional matches … registered a season-best four aces against five different opponents (Oneonta, Plattsburgh, Elmira, St. Lawrence and Russell Sage) … named the Nazareth Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sept. 24 after recording 37 assists, six aces and 17 digs in a pair of matches against Morrisville and Plattsburgh … earned academic awards with selection to the CSC Academic All-District team as well as the Empire 8 President’s list for both the Fall and Spring semesters.

2022: played in all 29 matches and 110 sets as a sophomore … finished second on the team with 221 assists and led the squad with 60 aces … added 161 digs which was fifth best on the team … recorded a season-high six aces in three different matches (Ithaca, WPI and Hunter) … had a season-best 20 assists against Lasell and had a double-double with 15 assists and 20 digs in the Empire 8 Tournament match against Utica.

2021: Kules played in all 25 matches in 2021 and 79 sets overall... posted solid statistical numbers, including 154 assists, 24 service aces and 100 digs... produced double digit assist totals in five matches, including a career-best 29 in five sets vs. Hartwick on 9/25/21... had 12 digs vs. Keuka on 9/29/21 and served up four aces vs. Hartwick in the Empire 8 Conference semifinals on 11/5/21... represented the Golden Flyers on the Empire 8 Presidents' List (3.75 GPA or better) for both the fall and spring semesters.

Scholastic: a graduate of Glens Falls High School, Kules was a member of the volleyball, tennis and track and field teams... played five seasons of varsity volleyball as a setter... was a four-time first team all-star in the Foothills Council and North Division MVP for 2021... served as team captain and selected to all-tournament teams at Argyle and Queensbury... recipient of Post-Star Teen Excellence Award as well as Athletic Grandstander Scholarship, Music Department Scholarship, Kelly's Angels Scholarship and Jacqueline Tyner Scholarship.
