Cassidy Herman

Fredonia graduate Cassidy Herman joined the Golden Flyers' softball staff as a part-time assistant coach in September of 2021.

Herman played four seasons at Fredonia and appeared regularly at third base for the Blue Devils. She served as an assistant coach for the 2020 season.

A native of Maybrook, N.Y., Herman was named Fredonia's Rookie of the Year for the 2016 season, then missed most of the 2017 season while recovering from a knee injury. She returned to play regularly in 2018 and 2019. She played scholastically at Valley Central and played five varsity seasons there.

At Fredonia, Herman earned an undergraduate degree in Communication and was a three-time All-America Scholar-Athlete award winner from the National Fastpitch Coaches Association. She also was an active member of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee.
