Nazareth College Athletics

Former University of Rochester player, Alizah Ayon has been added to the Nazareth University coaching staff beginning in 2024.

Ayon was a member of the successful Rochester squad that earned a trip to the NCAA Tournament in 2021. She led the team with a .409 batting average in 2019 as the Yellowjackets advanced to the Liberty League championship game. Ayon started all 40 games as a freshman and led the team with 52 hits, 13 home runs and 39 runs batted in. She was named the co-Rookie of the Year in the Liberty League and earned First Team All-Region honors.

After the 2020 season was cut short due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Ayon returned in 2021 to play in 33 games and make 18 starts for Rochester. She hit a pinch-hit home run in the NCAA Tournament win over Penn St. Behrend.
