Nazareth College Athletics

Psychology major with concentration in Inclusive Early Childhood Education... daughter of Mark and Jamie Hoffmier, Newark Valley, N.Y... returning for her third season for Nazareth after starting all 37 games last year at shortstop … was named to the Empire 8 All-Tournament team … finished the season with a .270 batting average (34-for-126) with 18 runs, 10 doubles and 18 runs batted in … led the team with eight sacrifice hits … had hits in each of the first six games of the season including a 3-for-4 effort against SUNY-Delhi … had three hits in the second games and was 5-for-10 with two runs and three RBI in the doubleheader against Keuka … named to the Empire 8 President’s List for student-athletes with at least a 3.75 grade point average in the fall (2023) … named to the NFCA National All-Academic team.

2021: returning for her second season Hoffmier played in 10 games in 2021 and went 4-for-26 (.154) as a hitter with two runs batted in... went 2-for-3 with an RBI at Keuka on 5/1/21.

Scholastic: a graduate of Newark Valley High School, Hoffmier played field hockey and softball there... played five seasons of varsity softball as a shortstop and served as team captain and was a two-time team MVP... also played for the Eyota Nation Fastpitch club team... helped field hockey team to berth in Section Four finals in 2019 and earned first-team Interscholastic Athletic Conference all-star honors as a defender... recipient of Coaches Choice Award and member of National Honor Society.
