Biography

Matthew has no previous rowing experience from high school, and joined the team in the Fall of 2018. He is also a member of the Track and Field team. Johnson was a member of the soccer and track and field teams in high school. and earned Monroe League all-star honors for track and field in 2017-18. A four-time NYSPHSAA scholar-athlete award winner, he helped the soccer team to league title in 2016. Son of Milton and Catherine Johnson.
