Business Administration major... born 1/22/95 in Riga, Latvia… son of Ruta Meleskina, Lindenhurst, N.Y… returning for his fourth season, Sarneckis played in 10 matches and 16 sets in 2016 and delivered 25 kills and 11 digs… had a career-best eight kills with six digs in a three-set sweep of Bard on 3/26/16.

2015: Sarneckis played in 11 matches for a total of 15 sets in 2015… recorded 15 kills, seven digs, two assists and one block… recorded a season-high four kills against Hilbert on 2/6/15.

2014: Sarneckis appeared in nine matches and 12 sets during the 2014 season… recorded 13 kills, three service aces, three assisted blocks, and three assists… had a career-high five kills and two aces against Wells on 3/30/14.

Scholastic: a graduate of Lindenhurst High School, Sarneckis played volleyball and basketball there… earned second-team all-Long Island honors in 2012… also a two-time all-league selection… helped team to Suffolk County titles in 2011 and 2012, Long Island title and state finals in 2012.
