Nazareth College Athletics

Son of Jim and Cheri Stuver, Webster, N.Y... returning for his fourth season after appearing in 69 sets over 20 matches after missing the beginning of the season due to injury... finished second on the team with 255 assists (3.70 per set), and was fifth in both blocks with 22 and service aces with 15... recorded a career-high 43 assists against Virginia Wesleyan on 3/9/24 and a season-high 13 digs... notched a season-high 10 kills against Vassar on 3/1/24.

2023: appeared in all 26 matches and 94 sets as a sophomore … earned All-Empire 8 honors as a second team selection and was the Empire 8 Player of the Week for the week ending 3/20 … finished third on the team with 170 kills with a .251 attack percentage, 136 digs and 62 blocks … recorded three straight matches with double-digit kills as he delivered 11 against Trine, 13 at St. John Fisher and 14 against NYU … had a career-high 16 kills at MIT (3/10) … recorded 33 kills In the four-match trip to California including 13 at UC Santa Cruz … named to the UVC All-Academic team.

2022: Stuver appeared in 24 matches in 2022 for a total of 80 sets played... finished third on the team in assists (134) and fourth in blocks (38)... registered 51 kills, including a career-high five vs Hilbert on 1/14/22 and Medaille on 1/15/22.. career-high 26 assists against Mount Union on 2/6/22. 

Scholastic: a graduate of McQuaid Jesuit, Stuver played four season of volleyball there and helped the team to two Section Five titles and two state titles... also played baseball and helped team to state and sectional titles in that sport... played for Pace Bootlegger club team... recipient of NYSPHSAA scholar-athlete award.
