Adolescent Education major... son of Byron and Maryann Mason, Amherst, N.Y... returning for his second volleyball season, Luton appeared in 17 matches in 2020 and contributed 96 kills and 11 service aces... had a season-best 12 kills in a five-set loss to Geneva on 2/7/20... had 10 kills vs. UC Santa Cruz on 2/8/20... also competes for the Golden Flyers' track and field team and placed third in the triple jump (13.75 meters / 45 feet, 1 1/2 inches) and fifth in the 60-meter hurdles (8.58) at the Empire 8 Conference meet in February... other top performances included 6.45 meters (21 feet, 2 inches) in the long jump and 1.74 meters (5 feet, 8 1/2 inches) in the high jump.

Scholastic: a graduate of Sweet Home High School, Luton competed there in track and field and volleyball... played as a middle hitter in volleyball and was team captain, team MVP and second-team all-Western New York in 2018... helped team to sectional title in 2018... also competed for Niagara Frontier Volleyball Club... a two-time Section Six champion in the triple jump both indoors and outdoors... also won Section Six outdoor title in the 110-meter hurdles in 2019... competes for the Golden Flyers' track and field teams.
