Finance and Accounting major… born 4/12/96… son of Ed and Debbie Kemp, Phelps, N.Y… returning for his fourth season, Kemp played in 33 matches and 111 sets as the team;s top setter... totaled 1,066 assists (9.60 per set) to go with 45 kills, 24 aces, 137 digs and 41 blocks... twice exceeded 50 assists in a match -- 53 vs. Hunter on 1/28/17 and 55 at Elmira on 4/8/17... earned honorable mention all-star honors in the United Volleyball Conference for the second year in a row... named UVC Player of the Week for 4/10/17.

2016: Kemp enjoyed a strong season in 2016 as the Golden Flyers’ primary setter… led the United Volleyball Conference and ranked fifth nationally with 10.69 assists per set… amassed 1,272 assists for the season with 167 digs and 43 kills and earned UVC honorable mention honors… appeared in all 35 matches and 119 sets and posted double-digit assist totals in every match… had a career-best 61 assists in a five-set win at Cal Lutheran on 3/9/16… also had 56 assists in five sets against Medaille on 2/6/16 and 51 vs. Rutgers-Newark on 1/29/16… had a career-high 14 digs vs. Mount St. Joseph on 2/27/16.

2015: Kemp played in all 35 matches and a team-high 122 sets … led Nazareth with 1,029 assists (8.42 per set)… registered 38 kills, 159 digs, nine service aces and 42 blocks … notched a season-high 49 assists against MIT on 3/28/15 … had a season-high 13 digs vs Santa Cruz on 4/24/15 … earned UVC Rookie of the Week honors on 2/9/15 and 2/23/15… named UVC Co-Rookie of the Year.
 
Scholastic: a graduate of Midlakes High School, Kemp was a three-year member of the varsity volleyball team... earned first-team Finger Lakes League all-star honors and was named to the Section Five all-star team each season… recognized as an All-Greater Rochester selection in 2013 and 2014 and Daily Messenger Player of the Year in 2013… helped team to four consecutive Finger Lakes titles and two Section Five championships…  also a standout on the basketball and baseball teams as he earned Rookie of the Year and first-team all-league honors in both sports in 2012 and 2014, respectively… named Midlakes Outstanding Senior Athlete and was a high honor roll student.
