Eben Meyer took over as head coach of the Nazareth men's volleyball program in May of 2025, following the retirement of longtime head coach Cal Wickens.
Meyer began as an assistant coach for the Nazareth men's volleyball program in 2022-23.
In each of his first three seasons, Nazareth had AVCA all-americans, with Seth Terzo (second team) and Owen Wickens (first team) in 2023 and Owen Wickens First Team in 2024, and honorable mention in 2025.. In addition, Wickens was the Empire 8 Player of the Year in both 2023, 2024, and 2025.Â
Meyer spent two years coaching the Pace Bootlegger 17s and 18s.
Collegiatley, Meyer played at Juniata College in Huntington, PA, winning a national championship in 1998.
He went on to play professionally, including in Belgium where he also ran practices and clinics for the second and third teams. His squad won the AA Men's National Championship in 2000.Â
