Former Nazareth standout Bill Gimello is back with the Golden Flyers in 2016 for his third season as a part-time assistant coach.
Gimello graduated in 2012 with a degree in business administration and was a two-time All-American on the volleyball court. He also was a two-time first-team all-star in the United Volleyball Conference.
A native of Hauppauge, N.Y., Gimello ranks second all-time with 1,305 career kills. He also ranks among Nazareth's all-time leaders in digs (546), service aces (94) and total blocks (234).
Gimello's coaching experience includes one season as a women's assistant coach at Brockport and a recent stint with the Pace Bootlegger club team.
