Physical Therapy major. . . born 5/18/88. . . son of Sam and Kathryn Amorese, Floral Park, N.Y. . . returning for his fourth season, Amorese played in 17 sets for the Golden Flyers in 2009. . .
2008: appeared in 16 sets and recorded four kills and 23 digs. . .
2007: recorded three kills, two service aces and nine digs in 13 sets. . .
Scholastic: a graduate of St. Francis Prep, Amorese played four seasons of volleyball there. . . earned team and Catholic High School Athletic Association MVP honors in 2006. . . two-time all-Queens honoree and 2005 recipient of team Coaches’ Award. . . played two seasons of varsity football and helped team to league title in 2005.
