Marketing minor... son of William and Lisa Deshane of Massena, N.Y... returning for his third track and field season after frequently competing in the 2023-24 seasons... at the Empire 8 Indoor Championship meet, DeShane placed 8th in the heptathlon with a PR score of 3315 (3rd in shot put PR 9.84 meters, 5th in the 60 PR time 7.68 seconds, 5th in the 60 meter hurdles, 6th in high jump PR score 1.58 meters, 7th in long jump, 8th in the 1000 PR time of 3:32.10, 8th in pole vault) and 9th in the triple jump with a distance of 11.71 meters... earned a PR in long jump with a distance of 6.07 meters at UR in April... earned PRs at Brockport in April in the decathlon with a score of 3784, the 100 with a time of 12.17 seconds, the 400 with a time of 1:00.74, discus throw with a distance of 23.05 meters, and pole vault with a height of 2.65 meters... in April, earned PRs in the 110 meter hurdles with a time of 16.64 seconds, and the 200 with a time of 25.18 seconds... at the Empire 8 Outdoor Championship meet, DeShane placed 7th in the 110 meter hurdles with a time of 16.81 seconds, 10th in long jump with a distance of 6.14 meters, and 11th in triple jump with a distance of 12.11 meters.

2022-23: DeShane competed for the Golden Flyers’ indoor and outdoor teams in 2023… top indoor performances included 9.22 seconds in the 60-meter hurdles and 12.56 meters (41 feet, 2.5 inches) in the triple jump… top outdoor efforts were 5.99 meters (19 feet, 8 inches) in the long jump and 28.46 meters (93 feet, 4 inches) in the javelin throw.

Scholastic: a graduate of Massena Central High School, Deshane was a part of the track and field and basketball teams… won first place for Section 10 in the 110-meter hurdles in 2022... also competed in triple, long, and high jumps.
