Nazareth College Athletics

Son of William and Kelle Engel, Queensbury, N.Y... returning for his third track and field season, Engel competed regularly during the indoor and outdoor seasons for the Golden Flyers in 2023… top outdoor performances included time of :24.07 in the 200-meter dash… also ran 2:06.55 in the 800-meter run during the indoor season.

2021-22: Engel competed both indoors and outdoors, helping the 4 x 800-meter relay (8:08.40) take first at the Empire 8 Outdoor Championships to earn first-team all-conference... finished ninth at the same meet in the 400-meter run in a personal-best time of 52.96… Engel competed for the Golden Flyers' cross country team in the fall of 2021 and placed 50th at the Empire 8 Conference meet at the Washington County Fairgrounds with an 8k time of 29:30.4... top 8k time of 29:00.00 came at the Paul Short Run at Lehigh.

Scholastic: a graduate of Queensbury High School, Engel competed in cross country, swimming and track there... served as team captain in all three sports for 2021 and won Section Two title in the 4 x 400-meter relay in track... helped track team to Foothills Council title in 2021 and swim team to sectional crown in 2017... recipient of QCS Scholarship.
