Nazareth College Athletics

Son of Steve and Patricia Reid, Ithaca, N.Y... returning for his fourth season, Reid competed frequently in the 2023-24 seasons for the Golden Flyers... at the Empire 8 Indoor championship meet, Reid placed 4th in high jump with a height of 1.83 meters and 12th in long jump with a distance of 6.04 meters... earned a PR in high jump with a height of 1.90 meters at Rochester in April to break the Nazareth record... at the Empire 8 Outdoor championship meet, Reid placed 4th in high jump with a height of 1.84 meters... named one of College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honorees for Division III Men's Track and Field.

2022-23: Reid represented the Golden Flyers at the Empire 8 Conference meets in 2023 and helped Nazareth to titles both indoors and outdoors… placed seventh in the high jump outdoors (1.82 meters / 5 feet, 11.5 inches) and ninth in the long jump with a personal-best leap of 6.07 meters (19 feet, 11 inches)… indoor season was highlighted by a sixth-place finish in the high jump at the E8 meet (1.80 meters / 5 feet, 10.75 inches) and a personal-best 60-meter dash time of 7.77… represented the Golden Flyers for the fall and spring semesters on the E8 Presidents’ List for student-athletes with GPAs of 3.75 and higher.

2021-22: Reid competed in both the indoor and outdoor season in 2021-22... earned third-team all-conference at the Empire 8 Outdoor Championships with a third place finish in the high jump with a height of 1.80 meters (5' 10.75")... took fourth in the high jump at the Empire 8 Indoor Championships with a personal-best of 1.84 meters (6' 0.5")... also leaped 11.85 meters (38' 10.5") in the triple jump and 5.50 meters (18' .5") in the long jump.

Scholastic: a graduate of Lansing High School, Reid competed in soccer as well as indoor and outdoor track and field... competed as a high jumper in track and set school records both indoors and outdoors with heights of 6 feet and 6 feet, 2 inches respectively... won the outdoor high jump title in the Interscholastic Athletic Conference... also a member of the 4 x 100-meter relay that posted top time of :45.51 outdoors... earned team MVP honors... played three seasons of varsity soccer and helped team to Section Four and regional titles in 2018 and 2019 as well as Class C state title in '18... competed for Ravens CVC and TC Waza Academy for soccer... recipient of Nazareth Trustee Scholarship, Haynor Foundation Scholarship, American Citizen Award and Lansing Bobcats Sports Boosters Club Graduation Award.
