Biography
Psychology major. . . born 6/28/91. . . son of Tina Kline, Newark, N.Y. . . returning for his second season, Kline enjoyed a strong first season for the Golden Flyers in 2009-10. . . set a school record in the 100 butterfly with a time of :51.89. . . also had team-best times in the 100 free (:48.25) and the 200 IM (1:59.95). . . was part of the 200 medley relay team that set school record with a time of 1:37.86. . . recipient of team High Point Award as Most Valuable Swimmer. . . finished third in the UNYSCSA meet and first in the Empire 8 in the 100 fly. . . also eighth in the 200 IM and 13th in the 100 free. . .
Scholastic: a graduate of Newark High School, Kline was a five-year member of the varsity swim team. . . also competed on the tennis, cross country, soccer, and outdoor track teams. . . was named team MVP four consecutive seasons. . . finished as a state finalist during 2007-08 and 2008-09 seasons and was a Section Five champion in the 100 fly (2007-08, 2008-09), 200 IM (2006-07),100 back (2008-09). . . Kline also won Finger Lakes League championships in the 100 fly and 200 IM (2005-08) and the 100 back (2008-09). . . named the Finger Lakes League Swimmer of the Meet during freshman, sophomore, and senior seasons and an Outstanding Senior Swimmer as a senior.
