Earned a PR in the mile at the Nazareth Conference Tune-Up with a time of 4:39.04
At the Empire 8 Indoor Championship meet, Benitez finished 11th in the 5000 with a time of 16:45.91 and 12th in the 3000 with a PR time of 9:15.47
Earned a PR in the 5000 with a time of 16:03.96 at Geneseo in March
Earned PRs in the 800 (2:05.86) and the 1500 (4:17.68) at Brockport in April
At the Empire 8 Outdoor Championship meet, Benitez finished 5th in the 3000 steeplechase with a PR time of 9:58.78 and 12th in the 1500 with a time of 4:17.81

2022-23 // FRESHMAN

Competed both indoors and outdoors for the track and field team in 2023
Top indoor performances included a time of 9:41.38 in the 3,000-meter run and 4:48.60 in the mile
Helped Nazareth capture its first-ever Empire 8 title during the outdoor season with a third-place finish in the 3,000-meter steeplechase (10:09.70) and ninth place in the 5,000-meter run (16:30.48)
Named Second-Team All-Empire 8 for cross country with an eighth place finish at the Empire 8 Championships in a season-best 8k time of 26:17.6
Empire 8 Cross Country Sportsman of the Year Team
