Back for his third season as a part-time assistant coach for the men's and women's tennis teams, Jeremy Mancus was among the Golden Flyers' top players before graduating in 2013.
A native of Irvington, N.Y., Mancus ranks seventh on the Golden Flyers' all-time list for wins (87), including 47 in singles. He served as team captain for three seasons and earned an array of Empire 8 Conference awards, including first-team all-conference honors for singles in 2012-13.
Mancus earned an undergraduate degree in English and a Master's in Childhood Education. He resides in Fairport and is a middle school teacher in the Rochester City School District. He also teaches private and group tennis lessons.
