Biography
Physical Therapy major... son of Jay and Kelly Kovaleski, Albion, N.Y... returning for his fourth season, Kovaleski swam in the 50 and 100 freestyle as well as the 100 and 200 breaststroke events ... had his best time in the 50 free of 23.55 in the preliminaries of the Empire 8 Championships.
2020-21: Kovaleski's top spring 2021 times included :23.68 in the 50 freestyle and 1:07.02 in the 100 breaststroke.
2019-20: Kovaleski represented the Golden Flyers in 2019-20 at the Allegheny Empire Conference meet and placed 19th in the 200 breaststroke (2:26.04), 22nd in the 50 freestyle (:23.36) and 23rd in the 100 breaststroke (1:05.95)... also swam in the 200 free relay that placed 12th (1:27.90).
Scholastic: a graduate of Albion High School, Kovaleski competed in swimming, tennis and football there... helped swim team to Section Six Class C and Niagara-Orleans League titles in 2018... won Class C individual titles in 50 free and 100 breaststroke as well as 200 medley relay and 400 free relay.
