Nazareth College Athletics

Music Education major... son of David and Jacqueline Ryan, Sherburne, N.Y... returning for his third season, Ryan competed for Nazareth during the pandemic-shortened 2021 spring season and posted times of 1:00.32 in the 100 butterfly, 1:01.45 in the 100 backstroke and 2:23.01 in the 200 IM at the Rochester Invitational... represented the Golden Flyers on the Empire 8 Presidents' List for student-athletes with GPAs of 3.75 and higher.

2019-20: Ryan competed regularly in 2019-20 and his top times included :58.28 in the 100 butterfly, 1:00.84 in the 100 backstroke and 2:17.78 in the 200 backstroke... represented the Golden Flyers on the Empire 8 Presidents' List for student-athletes with GPAs of 3.75 and higher.

Scholastic: a graduate of Sherburne-Earlville High School, Ryan was a four-year member of the swim team there... also competed in golf and cross country... helped swim team to runner-up finishes in Center State Conference and Section Three Class C meet in 2019... named team MVP for 2018... also earned team Coaches Award and Ironman Eagle Award... member of National Honor Society and High Honor Roll... recipient of Book Scholars Award from St. Michael's College... also earned awards for French and Algebra... played saxophone in the jazz band and marching band and marched in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade... served as senior patrol leader of boy scout troop and achieved Eagle Scout Award.
