Nazareth College Athletics

Business Management major...  son of Robert and Lisa Dunkelberg, Gouverneur, N.Y... returning for his fourth season, Dunkelberg enjoyed an impactful season for the Golden Flyers in 2018-19 as he swam on three record-breaking relays at the Empire 8 Conference meet... earned first-team all-E8 honors in the 200 freestyle relay (1:22.75) and the 200 medley relay (1:31.61) and second-team honors in the 400 free relay (3:04.93)... also finished seventh in the 100 backstroke (:54.59), ninth in the 50 free (:21.26) and 11th in the 100 free (:47.96).

2017-18: Dunkelberg supplemented Nazareth's team score at the Empire 8 Conference meet in 2018 with an eighth-place finish in the 100 backstroke (:54.66)... part of a  200 free relay team (1:24.34) that finished second... finished ninth in the 50 freestyle (:21.96) and 14th in the 100 freestyle (:48.69).

2016-17: Dunkelberg had a good first season in 2016-17 as he was part of relay records for both yards (1:27.27) and meters (1:40.60) in the 200 free relay... also finished 23rd in the 400 free relay (3:17.54) and 24th in the 100 backstroke (:56.63) at the UNYSCSA/Empire 8 Conference meet.

Scholastic: a graduate of Gouverneur High School, Dunkleberg swam four seasons on the varsity swim team and earned team MVP honors for his junior and senior seasons... also a member of the track and field and cross country teams... was a two-time Northern Athletic Conference all-star in cross country and a scholar-athlete award recipient... also swam for the Northern TRIBS club team.
