Nazareth College Athletics

Physical Therapy major...  son of Jeffrey and Deborah Welch, Geneseo, N.Y... returning for his fourth season, Welch competed in multiple events at the Allegheny Empire Conference meet at Webster Aquatic Center and had a 10th-place finish in the 50 freestyle (:22.07)... also finished 16th in the 100 breaststroke (1:03.20) and 17th in the 100 butterfly (:56.27)... swam on 400 free relay that finished 11th (3:16.05) as well as the 200 medley (1:39.59) and the 200 free (1:37.90) relays that each finished 12th.

2018-19: Welch swam for Nazareth at the Empire 8 Conference meet and finished 11th in the 100 breaststroke (1:02.41) and 13th in the 50 freestyle (:21.96).

2017-18: Welch competed for the Golden Flyers at the Empire 8 Conference meet in 2018 and finished 12th in the 100 breaststroke (1:02.44) and 15th in the 50 freestyle (:22.29).

Scholastic: a graduate of Geneseo Central, Welch competed in soccer and swimming there... excelled in the 50- and 100-yard freestyle events, winning the 50 and finishing second in the 100 at the Section Five Class D meet in 2017... also won the sectional title three times in the 400 free relay... helped team to first-ever Section Five team title in 2016... served as team captain and earned Livingston County League all-star honors in 2017... served as president of the National Honor Society and leadership ambassador of the Student Council... swam for the Mercury Aquatics club team.
