Nazareth College Athletics

Biomedical Sciences major... son of Thomas and Christine Knapp, Syracuse, N.Y... returning for his fourth season, Knapp swam well for the Golden Flyers during the pandemic-shortened 2021 spring season... was a member of the 800 free relay team (7:05.15) that placed first at the Rochester Invitational at Webster... also placed fifth in the 200 freestyle (1:47.06), sixth in the 100 freestyle (:48.52) and seventh in the 500 freestyle (4:52.65)... represented the Golden Flyers on the Empire 8 Presidents' List for student-athletes with GPAs of 3.75 and above.

2019-20: Knapp played a key role in the Golden Flyers' success in 2019-20, highlighted by his participation on the 800 freestyle relay team that finished second (7:01.86) at the Allegheny Empire Conference meet at Webster Aquatic Center... also reached the conference finals in both the 200- and 500-yard freestyles, finishing sixth in each with times of 1:45.19 and 4:46.46 respectively... also placed ninth in the 100 freestyle (:49.17), 11th in the 400 free relay (3:16.05) and 12th in the 200 free relay (1:27.90).

2018-19: Knapp competed at the Empire 8 Conference meet and finished eighth in both the 200 freestyle (1:47.55) and the 200 backstroke (2:04.48) and 12th in the 100 backstroke (:56.81)... recipient of the team's Most Improved Swimmer Award.

Scholastic: a graduate of Bishop Grimes High School, Knapp competed in soccer, bowling and golf... competed in swimming for the Syracuse Chargers club team... member of National Honor Society and recipient of Nazareth Presidential Scholarship.
