Sociology and Early Childhood Inclusive Education major... son of Mike and Colleen Long, Mexico, N.Y... returning for his fourth season, Long was an Empire 8 champion as part of the 800 freestyle relay and was also on the second place 400 medley relay for the Golden Flyers ... he added fourth place finishes in both the 200 butterfly and 500 free and was fifth in hte 1650 free at the Empire 8 Championships.

2020-21: Long was part of Nazareth's 800 free relay team (7:05.15) that finished first at the Rochester Invitational during the pandemic-shortened 2021 spring season... also finished fourth in the 500 freestyle (4:49.09), sixth in the 200 butterfly (2:04.06) and eighth in the 200 freestyle (1:48.67).

2019-20: returning for his second season, Long had a strong first season for the Golden Flyers as he was named co-Empire 8 Rookie of the Year as well as Nazareth's Newcomer of the Year Award after capturing the individual title in the 500 freestyle (4:41.25) at the Allegheny Empire Conference meet at Webster Aquatic Center... also swam second in the 1,650 freestyle (16:33.54) and fifth in the 200 freestyle (1:44.85)... swam on runner-up 800 free relay (7:01.86).

Scholastic: a graduate of Mexico Academy, Long competed in swimming, cross country and track and field... excelled as a distance freestyler in swimming and helped team to Section Three Class B titles in 2018 and 2019... three-time individual Class B champion in the 500 freestyle and two times in the 200 free... competed for the Mexico Tiger Sharks club team.
