Chemistry major … son of Donald and Armita Curran, Rush, N.Y… returning for his third season at Nazareth, Curran tallied 66 points in 2007-08 and will be one of the Golden Flyers' captains in '08-09. . . top times included 5:32.07 in the 500 free, 19:18.26 in the 1,650 free and 5:03.18 in the 400 IM. . . Curran earned the Golden Flyer Award as the team's most improved swimmer/diver. . . also recognized as a National Student Athlete in 2008. . . 2006-07: Curran scored 59.5 points. . . top performances included: 5:44.78 in the 500-yard freestyle and 20:08.77 in the 1650-yard freestyle… recipient of Coaches Award in recognition of hard work, dedication and exemplary commitment. . .  Scholastic: a graduate of Irondequoit High School, Curran was a member of the swim team for three years… served as team captain and helped Irondequoit to Section Five title in 2004. . . also competed for the Gators Swim Club and the FAST Swim Club. . . a high honor roll student and owner of a first-degree black belt in karate.
