Corey Neas joined the Nazareth athletic staff as head diving coach in 2020-21 and has developed a strong reputation for the diving teams.
During his tenure he has coached two all-american divers in Alexa Rizzo and Allie Norwood. In 2024, Alexa Rizzo placed third overall at the 2024 NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships. Allie Norwood earned all-american honors in 2021 and 2022.
He has guided mulitiple Empire 8 Divers of the year, including Jake Smith (2021-22), Allie Norwood (2021-22), Elizabeth Tripp (2022-23), and Alexa Rizzo (2023-24).
A graduate of Brighton High School, Neas attended Monroe Community College and won NJCAA titles in both 1- and 3-meter diving in 2020. He also has experience at the club level with Upstate Diving. He is the son of Cliff Devries, head diving coach at RIT and director of Upstate Diving.
