Communication Sciences and Disorders major... daughter of Kraig Kempney and Carol Urbanowicz, Carthage, N.Y... returning for her fourth season, Kempney started 16 games as a defender in 2018 and had 25 ground balls and 15 caused turnovers... an honorable mention selection to the Empire 8 Conference all-star team.

2017: Kempney was limited to five games in 2017 due to injury... scored a goal in a 17-7 win over Western New England on 3/16/17... also had 14 ground balls, nine draw controls and eight caused turnovers.

2016: Kempney appeared in all 17 games as a freshman, making 15 starts as a defender … finished with 16 ground balls and 10 caused turnovers … tallied three ground balls and two caused turnovers against Cortland on 3/22/16.
 
Scholastic: a graduate of South Jefferson High School, Kempney played six seasons of varsity lacrosse there... a two-time first-team All-Northern selection by the Watertown Daily Times and a three-time all-conference pick in the Northern Athletic Conference... competed in exceptional senior all-star game... also played basketball.
