Nazareth College Athletics

Nursing major... born 8/28/95... daughter of Jeffrey and Megan Rothrock, Fulton, N.Y... returning for her fourth season with the Golden Flyers, Rothrock was second on the team in 2016 with 55 points on 31 goals and a team-leading 24 assists … scooped up 17 ground balls and corraled six draw controls … recorded at least a point in all 17 games … tallied a season-high seven points on two goals and five assists against Emerson on 3/8/16 … earned first-team Empire 8 Conference all-star honors and second-team all-Empire Region honors from the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association... also named to the IWLCA's Sports Academic Honor Roll (3.5 GPA or higher).
 
2015: had a strong season as a sophomore starting all 16 games at attack ... finished second on the team in points with 50 on 24 goals and a team-high 26 assists ... also grabbed 14 ground balls and caused two turnovers ... notched a career-high nine points on three goals and six assists in a 19-8 win against Hartwick on 4/18/15 ... also scored a career-high five goals and added one assist against Westfield State on 3/10/15.

2014: Rothrock made an immediate impact for Nazareth during her freshman season as she appeared in all 16 games in 2014, including eight as a starter… ranked fourth on the team in total points with 23 and first in assists with 14… recorded her first career point with an assist in Nazareth’s 10-5 win over Westfield State (3/13/14) and scored her first goal in the Golden Flyers’ 10-5 win over Hartwick (4/5/14)… had four multiple-point games, including three in a row against Utica (4/13/14), Elmira (4/19/14) and Alfred (4/23/14) when she averaged five points per game and amassed a total of eight goals and seven assists.

Scholastic: a graduate of G. Ray Bodley High School, Rothrock is the younger sister of Emily Rothrock, who graduated in 2014... played volleyball and lacrosse scholastically and was a two-time Academic All-American selection by U.S. Lacrosse... served as lacrosse team captain in 2013 and finished as the team's leading scorer... twice honored as a first-team Onondaga League all-star... competed in Senior all-star game and helped team to 2012 league title... two-year member of the National Honor Society.
