Dana Schneider joined the Nazareth rugby staff as an assistant coach in the 2022-23 season. She served as the interim head coach for Nazareth for over year and a half before Andrew Spencer took over the duties.

Schneider has an extensive rugby background, playing 34 years, including 31 at the WPL Elite level, before retiring in 2016.

She began coaching in 2008 and is a level 300.

Prior to Nazareth, Schneider was the Clemson women's rugby head coach, guiding the Tigers to an undefeated record in league play and finishing 9th at CRCs in Division 1 Premiere 2022.

Schneider also previously was the head rugby coach at Hobart, an assistant coach at the University at Buffalo, along with holding a head coach position for the Rochester Renegades.

In 2020, Schneider was 1 of 26 American coaches awarded a Premiership Rugby Scholarship by Premiership Rugby, Friends of the British Council, and USA Rugby.

She has also served as secretary for the Upstate Small College Rugby Conference (National Collegiate Rugby Men).

In 2024, she shadowed Harlequins Rugby in England.

Schneider, a 1986 graduate of Binghamton University, is also a certified referee.
