Finance and Economics major... son of Jason and Marilyn Penoyer, Manlius, N.Y... team captain... returning for his fourth season, Penoyer played in all 18 games in 2019, including 17 as a starting defender... picked up his first career point -- an assist -- against Sage on 4/20/19... had 39 ground balls and a team-best 20 caused turnovers... an honorable mention selection to the Empire 8 Conference all-star team.

2018: Penoyer started all 17 games for the Golden Flyers in 2018 as a long-stick defender... scooped up 24 ground balls and was second on the team with 10 caused turnovers... an honorable mention selection to the Empire 8 Conference all-star team.

2017: Penoyer appeared in 15 games at defense as a freshman, making seven starts ... totaled nine ground balls. 

Scholastic: a graduate of Fayetteville-Manlius High School, Penoyer played two seasons of varsity lacrosse there... earned first-team Onondaga League all-star honors for 2016 and honorable mention accolades in 2015... helped team to Section Three title in '16... recipient of David Volles Memorial Award as team MVP... also won Tommy Gaggin Award for most takeaway checks and Hornet Award for leadership... earned scholar-athlete honors.
