Physical Therapy major... daughter of John Hughes and Kimberly Hoffman, Point Pleasant, N.J... returning for her fourth season, Hughes appeared in 14 games for the Golden Flyers in 2021, including 10 as a starter... scored the lone goal in a 1-0 win at Ithaca on 9/18/21... also had an assist in a 3-0 Empire 8 playoff win over Hartwick on 11/4/21... represented the Golden Flyers on the Empire 8 Presidents' List (3.75 GPA or better) for the spring semester.

2020: Hughes started all nine games for the Golden Flyers during the pandemic-shortened 2021 spring season... had 10 points on three goals and four assists and was a first-team Empire 8 Conference all-star for the second year in a row... scored twice in a 4-0 home win over Houghton on 3/24/21.

2019: Hughes enjoyed a strong first season for the Golden Flyers in 2019 as she led the team in scoring with 14 points on six goals and two assists... had goals against Brockport, Elmira, Houghton, Utica, Carnegie Mellon and St. John Fisher... earned first-team Empire 8 Conference all-star honors as a midfielder.

Scholastic: a graduate of Point Pleasant Beach High School, Hughes played soccer, basketball and softball there... team captain and a four-time Shore Conference all-star as a midfielder in soccer... also selected first-team all-state and team MVP in 2018... also team MVP and all-conference in basketball... earned several athletic awards, including Ocean County Athletic Directors Sportsmanship Award and Point Pleasant Beach Booster Association Challenger Award... member of National Honor Society and recipient of Coach Fioretti Scholarship and Challenger Scholarship... also won academic excellence awards for physics, English and Spanish.
