2012 StatsBusiness Administration major... born 05/29/92... son of Mark and Susan McDermott, Cortlandt Manor, N.Y... returning for his fourth season, McDermott played in 11 games for the Golden Flyers in 2014 and had one goal and two assists... lone goal came in a 16-11 win over Hamilton on 3/5/14.
2013: played in 18 games and contributed nine points on four goals, five assists... had a career-best four points on two goals, two assists in a 25-4 rout of Castleton State in the NCAA Playoffs on 5/8/13... also had three points on one goal, two assists against Elmira on 4/27/13.
Scholastic: a graduate of Hendrick Hudson High School, McDermott spent the fall semester of 2011 at Salisbury before transferring... played three seasons of varsity lacrosse in high school and was named team's Offensive MVP in 2011... also earned league and sectional all-star honors... also competed in hockey and football... helped travel hockey team to a state title in 2010.
