Business Administration major. . . born 8/31/88. . . son of Jim and Maureen Brown, Baltimore, Md. . . team captain. . . returning for his fourth season, Brown has been a fixture as a long-stick midfielder for the Golden Flyers. . . played in 17 games in 2009 and contributed six goals and two assists and scooped up 43 ground balls. . . earned first-team Empire 8 Conference all-star honors. . . scored twice in a non-conference victory over Keuka 4/28/09. . . also scored in NCAA Tournament game at St. Lawrence 5/6/09. . . 2008: played in all 16 games and led the team with 51 ground balls. . . also scored four times and added three assists. . . had two goals and one assist in Nazareth's 16-9 win over RIT in the ECAC Championship game 5/11/08. . . scored goals against St. John Fisher 4/9/08 and Stevens (4/12/08). . . had a career-best eight ground balls vs. Hartwick 3/29/08. . . honored as a second-team Empire 8 Conference all-star selection. . . 2007: played in 14 games and collected 10 ground balls. . . Scholastic: a graduate of Catonsville High School, Brown was a member of the varsity lacrosse team for four years as a long-stick midfielder and defenseman. . .  earned high school All-American honors in 2006 as well as first-team all-county. . . also excelled in football and basketball and was recognized as an all-conference player as a running back in football.
