Nazareth College Athletics

Daughter of Mark and Debra Palczewski, Montgomery, N.Y... returning for her fourth season, Palczewski picked up where she left off, starting all 19 games for a defense that allowed just .91 goals per game and 10 shutouts... recorded two goals on the season... named the Empire 8 Defensive Player of the Year and a member of the All-Conference First Team... honored by United Soccer Coaches as second team all-region...  also earned Second Team Scholar All-East Region by the United Soccer Coaches... earned prestigious Academic All-District by College Sports Communicators (CSC), a recognition for the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom... represented the Golden Flyers on the Empire 8 Conference Presidents' List for student-athletes with GPAs of 3.75 and above for the spring semester. 

2022: Palczewski had a stellar sophomore campaign, making 20 starts for Nazareth at center back... scored first-career goal, the game-winner, in the Empire 8 Championship game on 11/5/22 (1-0 win)... named to E8 All-Tournament Team after the Golden Flyers had back-to-back shutouts in the E8 semifinals (2-0 win over Sage) and finals (1-0 win over Utica)... earned second team All-Empire 8... helped anchor the Golden Flyer defense that had 10 shutouts and a .90 goals against average... represented the Golden Flyers on the Empire 8 Conference Presidents' List for student-athletes with GPAs of 3.75 and above for the spring semester. 


2021: Palczewski enjoyed a strong rookie season for the Golden Flyers in 2021... appeared in all 20 games, including 16 as a starting back... contributed an assist in a 3-1 victory over St. John Fisher on 10/20/21... named as a third-team Empire 8 Conference all-star... represented the Golden Flyers on the Empire 8 Presidents' List (3.75 GPA or better) for both the fall and spring semesters.

Scholastic: a graduate of Valley Central, Palczewski was a three-sport standout there... played four seasons of varsity soccer as a center back and was a two-time all-state selection, including a first-team honoree in 2021... also served as team captain for two seasons... also served as team captain for Nirvana FC Illusion... helped high school team to a pair of Midstate Athletic Conference titles as well as Section Nine championship in 2020-21... also excelled in basketball and lacrosse... scholastic recipient of John A. Lukacs Memorial Trophy for female athlete who displays athletic excellence, sportsmanship and citizenship... recipient of several other awards and scholarships, including St. Pat's Ramble Scholarship for volunteering and community service; the Dustin James Fallen Police Officer Scholarship; the Jeff Nicoli Sr. ALS Memorial Scholarship and the Valley Central Girolame Scholarship... president of Spanish Honor Society and member of Gradus Honoris, Science, Math, Social Studies, English and Art Honor Societies.
