Martin was an assistant coach at Rensselaer in 2006 before being appointed at Nazareth later that fall. He is also enrolled in Nazareth's Master of Science in Management program.
A native of Amherst, Mass., Martin served as the Red Hawks' defensive coordinator and helped organize recruiting in '06. The Red Hawks finished 7-10 overall and 4-2 in the Liberty League.
Martin also has experience as an assistant coach at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia in 2005 and as an instructor at the Powell Brothers Lacrosse Academy for three summers.
As a player, Martin was a standout at Ithaca College, graduating in 2003 with a degree in Business Administration. He was a four-year member of the Bombers' lacrosse team and was team captain for two seasons. He earned All-America honors in 2002 and 2003 as the team's starting goalie and was named Empire 8 Conference Player of the Year in '02.
