A four-year standout for the Golden Flyers as a defensive midfielder, Francis Donald is back for his sixth season as an assistant coach.
A native of Dallas, Texas, Donald graduated from Nazareth in 2007 with a degree in business administration.
As a player, Donald was a defensive standout and a three-time Empire 8 Conference all-star selection, including a first-team choice in 2006. He was an honorable mention All-American selection in 2005 and in 2007 competed in the annual North-South Senior all-star game.
Donald was team captain in 2006 and 2007 in helping Nazareth to the ECAC title in '06 and an NCAA quarterfinal appearance in '07. Nazareth posted a 58-13 record in his four seasons as a player.
Donald played scholastically at St. Mark's School in Dallas where he earned all-state and all-district honors as a defensive midfielder.
