Communication and Rhetoric major. . . son of Tim and Lynda Byer, Birmingham, Mich. . . returning for his second season, Byer played in eight games in 2008 and had one goal and one assist. . . had both points in a win over Elmira 3/15/08. . . Scholastic: a graduate of Seaholm High School in Michigan, Byer transferred to Nazareth after spending the fall of 2006 at Butler University. . . Byer played three seasons of varsity lacrosse at Seaholm. . . received all-area and all-conference honors... also competed on the varsity wrestling team for one season... an honor roll student.
