Before Nazareth: a graduate of G. Ray Bodley High School in Fulton and Proctor Academy in New Hampshire, Francis spent 2010 at Castleton State and played hockey there.

Scholastic: played soccer, hockey and lacrosse at Fulton and Proctor... earned all-league honors as a defenseman in lacrosse at Proctor and was selected team MVP and competed in senior all-star game... served as lacrosse team captain at Fulton in 2008 and was an honorable mention Section Three all-star... earned first-team Onondaga League all-star honors in hockey in 2007.
