Business Leadership major and Economics and Communication double minor … son of Erik and Yanika Provencher, Drummondville, Quebec... returns for his third season after moving into the primary starter role as a sophomore … started 19 games with a 12-5-1 record with three shutouts … finished the season with 41 goals allowed (2.19 GAA) and 452 saves (.917 SV%) … his 12 wins established a school record for wins in a season … the three shutouts in a season is a school record and is also tied for the most career shutouts … his save percentage ranks sixth best in a season and his goals against average ranked fourth on the season-best list … had a career-high 47 saves against Utica (1/27) and added 30 or more saves in three additional games including the season opening game against Elmira (10/28) … earned the UCHC Goalie of the Week for his 28 saves in a 4-1 win against Chatham in the final weekend of the regular season … he was named the winner of the Nazareth Comeback Player of the Year award at the end of the year banquet … named to the UCHC All-Academic team.

2021-22 ... Provencher played for the Golden Flyers in 2021, making five starts in goal and playing in a total of 10 games for 534:43 minutes... surrendered 44 goals on a .865 save percentage and made 282 saves... made a career-high 44 saves against Wilkes on 3/31/21.

Scholastic: a native of Quebec, Provencher is a 2018 graduate of Brewster Academy in New Hampshire, where he played hockey and baseball... attended College Saint-Bernard in Quebec before that and was named male Athlete of the Year in 2017... spent the 2019-20 season with the Boston Junior Bandits of the National Collegiate Development Conference... appeared in 24 games as the starting goaltender and posted a 12-9-3 record with a 3.56 goals-against average and a .902 save percentage... went 3-3-1 with the same club in 2018-19 and had a 3.41 goals-against average and a .903 save percentage.
