Biography

Biochemistry major… born 6/18/91… son of Sergey and Irina Zavorin, Moscow, Russia… returning for his second season, Zavorin was the Golden Flyers’ leading scorer in 2012-13, appearing in all 26 games and delivering 26 points on 12 goals and 14 assists… also had a team-best six power-play goals… had a team-best six-point game (five goals, one assist) in a 7-2 win over Brockport on 10/23/12… also had five points (two goals, three assists) in a 9-6 win over Western New England on 12/7/12…
 
Before Nazareth: a native of Russia, Zavorin attended high school there and graduated in 2007… a transfer to Nazareth from County College of Morris in New Jersey, where he twice earned NJCAA first-team All-American honors… helped team reach the junior college final four in 2012.
