Finance major...  son of Steve and Shelly Shanley, Edwards, Colo... team captain... returning for his fourth season, Shanley played in 25 games for the Golden Flyers in 2019-20 and produced one goal and five assists... the lone goal was the first of his career and was the game-winner in a 1-0 win over Amherst on 1/3/20... also had six minor penalties for 12 minutes... represented the Golden Flyers on the United Collegiate Hockey Conference's All-Academic team for student-athletes with GPAs for 3.20 and above.

2018-19: Shanley played in 21 games for the Golden Flyers in 2018-19 and contributed three assists... also had five penalties for 18 minutes... had an assist in Nazareth 2-2 season-opening tie against Curry on 10/26/18... also posted assists against Trinity on 11/20/18 and at Neumann on 1/28/19... named to the United Collegiate Hockey Conference's All-Academic team for players with GPAs of 3.20 or higher... also named as an All-American Scholar by the American Hockey Coaches Association for players with GPAs of 3.60 or higher.

2017-18: Shanley played in 15 games for the Golden Flyers in 2017-18 and contributed an assist against Lebanon Valley on 2/3/18... also had five minor penalties for 10 minutes... named to the United Collegiate Hockey Conference's all-Academic team for student-athletes with a GPA of 3.20 or greater.

Before Nazareth: a 2015 graduate of Shattuck-St. Mary's High School in Minnesota, Shanley played hockey and ultimate frisbee there... spent the 2016-17 season in the Eastern Hockey League as team captain of the Northern Cyclones... had 10 goals and nine assists in 44 games... also played 35 games for the New York Bobcats in '15-16 and had six goals and 10 assists.
