Phillip Tetzlaff, assistant coach at Neumann University for two seasons, joined the men's hockey staff at Nazareth as an assistant coach for the 2019-20 season.
A native of Ohio, Tetzlaff graduated in 2015 from Kent State University with an undergraduate degree in Applied Communication. He also has had coaching stints with the Cleveland Barons at the U16 and U18 levels and with the Cedar Rapids Roughriders of the United States Hockey League.
As a player Tetzlaff was a goaltender who played junior hockey in the North American Hockey League for the North Iowa Outlaws and in the United States Hockey League for the Sioux City Musketeers. A heart condition ended his playing career at age 17.
