Billy Sauer

Rochester native Billy Sauer joins the Nazareth men's ice hockey staff as the volunteer strength and conditioning coach after playing three seasons of pro hockey between the East Coast Hockey League and the American Hockey League. Before turning pro he played four years at the University of Michigan and helped the Wolverines reach the Frozen Four in 2008.

Sauer graduated from Michigan in 2009 with a degree in Kinesiology and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and a Certified Personal Trainer. Sauer works at a couple of local gyms and trains hockey players in the area.  He is excited to be working with the Golden Flyers team for their inaugural season.
