History major. . . born 11/30/89... son of Dan and Joanne Woodward, Watertown, N.Y... returning for his second season for the Golden Flyers, Woodward made an immediate impact for Nazareth in his first season after transferring from Jefferson CC... posted an average score of 80.56 through nine tournaments, including a first-place finish at the Utica Spring Invitational as he recorded a season-best score of 72... also finished third at the Utica College Invite and 11th at the Hamilton Fall Invitational with a one-round score of 76 and a two-round score of 153, respectively ... at the Empire 8 Championships, Woodward placed 19th overall with a two-round score of 161... posted a two-round score of 165 at the Nazareth Invitational...
Scholastic: a graduate of Watertown High School, Woodward won the 2009 Mid-State Athletic Conference Championship while he was at Jefferson CC... also received all-conference accolades during both of his seasons at Jefferson and placed fourth at Regionals and was a member of the all-Region team... Woodward competed at the NJCAA National Golf Championship and finished 13th and earned honorable mention all-American honors... won the men’s Watertown City Golf Championship... a member of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society and was recognized on the Distinguished Academic all-American team and all-Region Academic Team... at Watertown, Woodward was a member of the varsity golf team for five seasons and was a three-time Frontier League all-star... was undefeated during his senior season and had the lowest average scoring average in the Frontier League... recipient of the Frontier League Scholarship.
