No stranger to Nazareth and its golf team, Brian Seeley is in his second season as a part-time assistant coach for the Golden Flyers.

A 2005 graduate with a degree in mathematics, Seeley was a four-year member of the golf team and served as team captain during his senior year.

Among his career highlights was being selected Empire 8 Conference Player of the Year in the fall of 2003 after taking medalist honors at the two-day conference tournament at Colgate. He also was a second-team all-conference selection as a sophomore in 2002.

After his senior season, Seeley was honored by the Nazareth athletic department with the Robert A. Kidera Scholar-Athlete Award that is presented annually to the graduating senior who best combines academic and athletic excellence.

A native of LeRoy, N.Y., Seeley played football, basketball and golf there. He led the golf team to three straight Livingston County League titles and competed in the state tournament as a senior.
