Biography

Business Education  major. . . son of Theodore and Antoinette Stenuf, East Syracuse, N.Y. . . Stenuf is returning to the cross country team for his for his third season. . . enjoyed another brilliant season in both track and cross country for 2007-08. . . qualified for the NCAA championship meet after placing 11th in 24:54 at the NCAA Atlantic Regional meet. . . finished 38th overall at the national meet at St. Olaf's in Minnesota. . . also earned first-team Empire 8 Conference all-star honors. . . during the indoor season, Stenuf set four individual school records: 1:20.31 in the 600-meter run, 1:52.00 in the 800-meter run, 2:29 in the 1,000-meter run and 4:16 in the mile. . . was also  a member of four relays that set school records. . . earned All-American honors with a fourth-place finish in the 800-meter run at the NCAA Championship meet at Ohio Northern with a time of 1:52.85. . . also won ECAC title in the 800-meter run. . . named Empire 8 Track Athlete of the Meet and earned first-team all-conference honors in the 1-mile run, the 800-meter run and the 1,600-meter relay. . . was equally successful during the outdoor season as he earned All-American honors with a third-place finish in the 800-meter run (1:51.62). . . named E8 Track Athlete of the Meet and was first-team all-conference in the 800- and 1,500-meter runs. . . set a school record in the 1,500-meter run (3:53) and was on the school-record 4x800-meter relay team. . . 2006-07: competed in cross country for the first time in 2006 and had great success.... placed second in the Brockport 5K Challenge (16:27) and 29th at the NCAA Regional Championship meet (26:39) where he was named to the Atlantic Region all-star team... recognized as Rookie of the Year by the Empire 8 and named team MVP.. . . continued his success on the track by placing first in the 800-meter run at the NYSCTC Championship meet. . .placed first in the 800-meter run  and placed first in the 1,500-meter run (3:53.53) at the NYSCTC Championships during the outdoor season...named Athlete of the Meet by the Empire 8. . . 2005-06: became Nazareth's first All-American during the 2005-06 seasons. . . finished third in the 800-meter run at the NCAA track and field championships  with a time of 1:51.31. . . also set a school record in the 800 by winning the ECAC title at Springfield with a time of 1:50.83. . .was named the Atlantic Region's Track Athlete of the Year by the USTFCCCA...named Empire 8 Conference Athlete of the Meet. . .received All-America honors during the indoor season following a sixth-place finish in the 800-meter run (1:53.99) at the NCAA Division III Indoor championships...  named Empire 8 Athlete of the Meet after earning first-team E8 all-star honors... 2005:  transferred to Nazareth  from Coastal Carolina. . . earned first-team Empire 8 Conference all-star honors for both indoor and outdoor track teams. . . Scholastic: a graduate of East Syracuse-Minoa High School, Stenuf was a member of the soccer and track teams. . . finished fourth in the 800-meter run at the state outdoor championships and competed at the high school nationals. . . also won Section Three title in the 800-meter run in 2004. . . won gold medal in the 1,500-meter run (3:58.71) at the Empire State Games over the 2006 summer.
