Nazareth College Athletics

Communication and Media major... son of Dean and Kathy Sharron, North Syracuse, N.Y... returning for his fourth cross country season, Sharron competed in the fall of 2021 and helped Nazareth to its second straight Empire 8 title with a 20th-place finish at the conference meet with a personal-best 8k time of 27:14.6... earned third-team all-conference honors... excelled during the indoor and outdoor track and field seasons in 2022, highlighted by a personal-best clocking of 1:58.28 in the 800-meter run at Nazareth's ROC City Qualifier on 5/15/22... placed third in the 1,500 (4:15.17) and fourth in the 800 (2:01.82) at the E8 Outdoor Championships... had a personal-best time of 4:06.83 in the 1,500 at St. John Fisher on 4/22/22... indoor season included a first-place finish in the distance medley relay (11:00.48) at the E8 Championships. 

2020-21: Sharron ran in both spring 2021 races and finished 26th at the Empire 8 Conference meet at Houghton with a 6k time of 21:07.6 and 11th at St. John fisher's Rodenbeck Invitational (21:27.7)... competed during the indoor and outdoor track seasons and ran on the 4x800-meter relay that finished fourth (8:05.83) at the All-Atlantic Regional Meet outdoors... other top times included 2:03.07 in the 800 and 4:20.58 in the 1,500 outdoors and 9:26.78 in the 3,000-meter run indoors.

2019-20: Sharron ran regularly for the Golden Flyers in 2019 and finished 26th at the Empire 8 Conference meet 11/2/19 at St. John Fisher with an 8-kilometer time of 28:54.2... top 8k time of 28:01.5 came at Houghton's Highlander Invitational on 10/5/19 and was good for 46th place... competed for the Golden Flyers during the indoor track season and posted top times of 4:45.26 in the mile, 9:38.09 in the 3,000-meter run and 2:17.75 in the 800-meter run.

Scholastic: a graduate of Cicero-North Syracuse High School, Sharron was a member of the cross country team as well as the indoor and outdoor track and field teams... served as team captain for all three sports and helped team to three straight Section Three outdoor track titles... team also won four outdoor and two indoor Salt City Athletic Conference titles... finished 34th in the Section Three Class A meet for cross country in 2018.
