Nursing and Public Health major... daughter of Zach and Emily Young, Cazenovia N.Y... returning for her second season, Young started all 17 games for the Golden Flyers in 2021 and contributed three defensive saves, including one in the 2-1 shootout win over Washington & Jefferson in the regular-season finale... named to National Academic Squad by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association for student-athletes with GPAs of 3.30 and above.

Scholastic: a graduate of Cazenovia High School, Young competed there in field hockey, softball and track... played two seasons of varsity field hockey earned second-team all-star honors in the Onondaga High School League... helped team to league title in 2019... recipient of Nursing Scholarship... also played for Syracuse Field Hockey Club.
