Natalie Salewski was named head coach of the dance team along with Kristin Thayer in August of 2023.
Salewski was a four-year member of the Nazareth Dance Team (2018-2022), serving as a captain for two seasons. She was responsible for choreographing and teaching several routines performed at Nazareth basketball games as well as award-winning competition dance routines performed at the Universal Dance Association New England Dance Championships and College Team Nationals. She also assisted with running practices, organizing fundraisers, selecting costumes, and registering and finding competitions
She received he Bachelor's in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Nazareth in 2022, while minoring in dance studies and cognitive neuropsychology. Currently, Salewski is working towards a Master's in Speech Language Pathology focusing on Medical Specialization Program with an anticipated graduation of December of 2023.
Salewski, along with Thayer, are members of the MAYHEM Dance Company in Rochester, a professional modern dance company that rehearses and performs dance pieces at festivals and showcases.
Salewski, who is currently a graduate assistant in the Student Engagement and Leadership Office at Nazareth, was a student of Liverpool School of Dance for seven years in ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, and lyrical. She also taught classes are developed yearly recital dances from age 12-18.
