Nazareth graduate Megan Searing was named head coach of the Golden Flyers' dance team in 2018.
Searing was a four-year member of the Nazareth dance team and earned a degr4ee in Match Education with concentration on Inclusive Early Childhood Education.
An assistant captain for the dance team as a senior, Searing helped set goals for the team and co-led practices to help choreograph dances. In addition to her work with the Nazareth team, the Canandaigua Academy graduate served as a dance teacher’s assistant at Jody Bs Studio of Dance in Penfield, N.Y.
In the classroom, Searing was a member of the Kappa Delta Pi (Education Honor Society), Pi Mu Epsilon (Mathematics Honor Society) and Pi Gamma Mu (Social Sciences Honor Society).
